About this coffee

Ibrik coffee (also known as Turkish or Greek coffee) is a centuries-old brewing tradition that originated in the Ottoman Empire. Named after the small, long-handled pot used to make it (called an ibrik or cezve or briki in Greek), this method creates a uniquely strong, velvety, and aromatic cup of unfiltered coffee. Ibrik is one of the oldest and most traditional coffee preparation methods in the world. To make it, you use very finely ground coffee. The coffee brews slowly in a small pot called an ibrik (or cezve), typically over low heat or sand. Source: createcoffeeroasters.com (roaster’s own copy).
