How do I log a brew?
Tap the "☕ Log brew" button in the top navigation bar. You can select the coffee, brew method, parameters, tasting notes, and a match score against the roaster's label.
What is the match score?
The match score (0–100) reflects how closely your cup matches the tasting notes on the coffee's label. A high score means the coffee is tasting true to description.
How does the cupping scoresheet work?
Open it from the user menu or feed sidebar. It follows an SCA-style protocol — score up to 10 coffees on attributes like aroma, flavour, acidity, sweetness, and balance. Scores range from 7.5–10 per attribute.
Can I edit a brew log after saving?
Yes — open the brew log and tap the edit (pencil) icon. You can update all fields including photos.
How do I add photos to a brew?
When logging or editing a brew, use the photo upload section to attach images. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP (max 5 MB each).
How do I make my account private?
Go to Settings & Privacy from the user menu. You can make individual brew logs private when logging or editing them.
I didn't receive a verification email.
Check your spam folder. If it's not there, go to Settings & Privacy and tap "Resend verification email". Make sure you signed up with the correct address.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I add Koffeesome to my home screen?
Go to "Add to home screen" in the user menu for step-by-step instructions for iOS, Android, and desktop.
