Roasteries / Awaken Cafe & Roasting

Awaken Cafe & Roasting
Oakland, CA, USA
Awaken Cafe & Roasting has been a downtown Oakland community coffee-house since 2008 — espresso bar, coffee-gear retailer, restaurant, beer & wine bar and event venue in one, with a rotating art gallery. It roasts its own coffee regularly at the Pulley Collective shared roastery in West Oakland, selling single origins and its Woakland Espresso blend in biodegradable bags, plus subscriptions and wholesale. Named one of the SF Chronicle’s 25 best coffee shops in the Bay Area (2022) and repeatedly voted Best Cafe by East Bay Express readers. Source: awakencafe.com.
