Anchor & Tree Coffee Roasting Co. is a Sacramento roastery and café founded by Donovan Albert, a former Cropster account manager and barista, in a converted 1,300-sq-ft yoga studio on 16th Street. Coffee is roasted on-site on a Bellwether electric, zero-emissions roaster in small batches, with a focus on ethical/Fairtrade and organic sourcing — coffees are named after trees from their region of origin. The shop is also a multi-roaster collective showcasing coffee and products from other local businesses, and supplies 30+ wholesale accounts. LGBTQ-owned.
