Abraço
East Village, New York, NY, USA
East Village espresso bar and bakery run by Jamie McCormick and Elizabeth Quijada since the 2000s. It began as a tiny phone-booth café and later moved across East 7th Street. Abraço (“hug” in Portuguese) roasts all its own coffee, including its house Brazilian espresso and rotating drip, and is famous for its olive oil cake and cured-olive cookie.
