Founded in Leeds in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Hols and Alex "Krag" — Krag started out roasting every bean himself at 22, while Hols brought a background in ethical sourcing after tracing Fairtrade’s impact on coffee communities in Kenya before working as a green buyer and becoming a licensed Q Grader. What began as a small specialty roastery has grown into a Leeds business spanning sourcing, roasting, wholesale, hospitality and coffee education, alongside impact projects in El Salvador, Rwanda and Timor-Leste. Certified B Corp and a recognised Buy Women Built business.
