Woodcat Coffee
Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA
Woodcat Coffee is an independently owned neighborhood coffee shop and roaster in Echo Park, Los Angeles, founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife coffee veterans Saadat and Janine Awan, who built the business with "little money, lots of heart, and their own hands." In 2020 they began roasting their own coffee in-house and later opened a second café, Dinosaur Coffee, in Silver Lake. The team travels to origin to build direct relationships with producers, with community "at the heart of what we do."
