Temple Coffee Roasters was founded in 2005 by Sean Kohmescher — the name inspired by temples he visited in Indonesia — with its own roastery established in 2008. Coffee is roasted on a Renegade Roaster (60k capacity) and a Probat UG (15k capacity), producing roughly 5,000 lbs/week across custom profiles for every lot under a "Farm to Cup" sourcing model that pays above Fair Trade prices. Temple now runs nine cafés across Sacramento, Arden Arcade, Fair Oaks, Davis and Folsom, plus a regional wholesale program.

A creamy, full-bodied blend of rotating women-produced lots, currently from Rwanda Rambagirakawa, Guatemala La Morena and Ethiopia's Tewabech Tilo. Temple donates $0.50 a bag to groups supporting women producers, starting with the International Women's Coffee Alliance.
