Big news - this is our first ever coffee offering from Costa Rica! We're beyond stoked to release it to you. This coffee has some serious zip and zing to it, reminding us of blue raspberry and sour punch straws . Bright acidity followed by a candy-like, fruity sweetness. We have a limited supply, so it's going to go fast! This coffee comes from CoopeTarrazú, a cooperative of more than 3,500 coffee producers in Costa Rica’s San José province. The cooperative supports its farmers through hands-on technical assistance, sustainability programs, and work to address challenges like coffee rust. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

It took us some time to find the right decaf for our customers, but after several months of searching and lots of sampling, we think we’ve found a real gem. This decaf coffee has the kick and flavor of any normally processed coffee with notes of graham cracker and dark chocolate. By using a naturally occurring derivative called Ethyl Acetate (EA), our producing partners are able to strip away 97% of the caffeine while maintaining many of the original flavors and sugars. EA comes from cane sugar and is actually found in many fruits, including bananas. Collaborative Coffee Source brought this co Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

We're stoked to release our first ever coffee from El Salvador and the Mapache Estate! Look for comforting notes of milk chocolate, orange, and maple syrup in this easy-drinking coffee. The Mapache Estate is a fifth-generation family coffee producer nestled in El Salvador's Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. Today, Jan-Carlo and Sofia Handtke oversee six farms, which they tend to with extreme attention to detail. They also implement sustainable farming practices by preserving native shade canopies, recycling water at their eco-friendly mill, and returning coffee pulp to the soil as nutrient-ri Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Natural Ethiopian coffees tend to have a special place in our hearts. They lean bright and fruity, but often have incredible flavor clarity and a clean finish. This coffee from the Bochessa community in the well-known Sidamo region shines with notes of blueberry, confetti cake, and lemon. Bochessa is a small coffee-growing community in Ethiopia’s Sidamo region, within the mountainous Arbegona district. Coffee is the main source of income here, grown on small farms ranging from 0.1 to 2 hectares. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

We're excited to add another Ethiopian coffee to our lineup with this washed Guji from the Hadeso washing station! Ethiopia is known for producing bright, complex coffees, and this is no exception. We taste vibrant notes of raspberry limeade and kiwi. Hadeso is a remote coffee-growing area in Ethiopia’s Guji region, about 300 miles south of Addis Ababa. The Hadeso washing station collects coffees from around 500 different farmers in the region, whose farms range from 10 minutes to an hour from the washing station. A berry-forward, deliciously sweet year-round blend! With a blend of natural and washed coffees, we get lime citrus notes balanced by sweet, ripe berries. We love this coffee in all forms - drip, espresso, and especially as a flash brew served over ice. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

We're excited to share this coffee from Cerro La Bruja, a remote coffee-growing area near San Vicente Yogondoy in Oaxaca, Mexico. We taste comforting notes of milk chocolate and wafer cookies! Cerro La Bruja—Spanish for "Hill of the Witch"—sits between 1,500 and 1,700 meters above sea level in the Sierra Sur mountains. Reaching the community from Oaxaca takes about five hours by road, but getting to the farms themselves often requires another two to three hours on foot or by mule. During harvest, many producers temporarily move to their farms and carry coffee back to town over multiple trips. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

The Reservoir is our original everyday blend, crafted to perfection. While it's delectably versatile, we use it primarily as our house espresso. With deep, sweet chocolate notes and a gentle touch of acidity, this coffee is a standout on its own and pairs beautifully with milk-based drinks. Whether you're seeking a dependable daily favorite or a surefire crowd-pleaser, The Reservoir delivers every time. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Smoke signals is that balanced, rich, nostalgic coffee that we all know and love. It’s got just the right amount of smokiness to compliment the sweet dark chocolate notes that come through. It’s the coffee that we want when we’re brewing it up for the whole family. Be sure to keep a secret stash, ‘cause it’ll go fast. Source: bellwoodcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).
