This naturally processed coffee from Brazil’s Mantiqueira de Minas region is built from lots produced by smallholder farms surrounding São Bartolomeu. Grown at higher elevations and dried on patios at each individual farm, it carries more structure and complexity than the heavy, flat dark roasts people often expect from Brazil. We also approached the roast profile a little differently here. With a slightly shorter development ratio than Smoke & Mirrors, more of the coffee’s natural character stays intact through the roast - giving this single origin dark roast a little more depth, nuance, and Source: brightjenny.ca (roaster’s own copy).

Colombia, Jheison Lopez (Bright Reserve 003)

Finca La Mina comes from the mountains of Buesaco in Nariño, Colombia, where third-generation producer Jheison López is carrying forward a serious family legacy. After the passing of his grandfather, Franco José Héctor López, Jheison took responsibility for the farm - producing exceptional coffees that have earned recognition at the Cup of Excellence and other competitions. Sitting at 2,100 MASL, La Mina benefits from the high altitude, varied microclimates, and mineral-rich volcanic soils that have made Nariño one of Colombia’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Jheison pairs those condi Source: brightjenny.ca (roaster’s own copy).

Colombia, P-07 Thermal Shock (Bright Reserve 004)

For more than 26 years, Wilton has been growing coffee at Granja Paraíso 92 in Cauca, Colombia. His approach sits somewhere between farmer, scientist and relentless tinkerer - pairing meticulous growing practices with a microbiology lab, custom-built equipment and an incredible amount of control over fermentation. At around 1,900 MASL, Granja Paraíso 92 sits in the volcanic soils of Cauca. Wilton uses controlled bioreactors, specific microorganisms and close monitoring throughout processing to build coffees that are intensely expressive, but still precise and clean. Colombia, Peñas Blancas

Peñas Blancas is a collaborative washing station in Acevedo, Huila, founded by producers Néstor Lasso and Jhoan Vergara with a simple goal: create more opportunities for the farming communities around them. By combining shared processing infrastructure with technical expertise and transparent quality standards, Peñas Blancas helps smallholder producers unlock the full potential of their harvests while connecting them with specialty coffee buyers around the world. This washed lot is a reflection of both the region and the people behind it. Grown between 1,700 - 1,900 metres above sea level by s Source: brightjenny.ca (roaster’s own copy).

Dream State, Medium Roast Blend

Dream State hits like your daily go-to - but with a slightly demure raised eyebrow. Mulling spice, orange bitters, and rich praline make it smooth and cozy, but there’s just enough weird in the mix to keep you locked in. Built for folks who like their coffee easy-drinking, but still want to feel something. Source: brightjenny.ca (roaster’s own copy).

Glitter Juice, House Espresso

CA$22.00 / 250g

Meet Fugi Station - a bright, lively washed coffee from Rwanda that tastes a little bit like someone dropped a handful of flowers into a glass of lemon cola. Managed by Afrodis Munyangaju, Fugi Station produces coffees with the kind of clean, expressive character that made us fall for Rwandan coffee in the first place. This one is light, juicy and wonderfully easy to keep drinking, with lemon drop sweetness, soft magnolia florals and a fizzy cola-like finish. Source: brightjenny.ca (roaster’s own copy).
