Ritrovare Coffee (尋品・旬品咖啡) is a specialty roaster in Taichung, Taiwan — “ritrovare” is Italian for “to find again”, the idea of searching out the best flavour in every green coffee and then working out the roast curve that shows it. It selects its own green coffee and roasts in-house, and keeps an unusually wide range: around a hundred coffees at a time, from Alishan estates and award lots of the Alishan Estate Coffee Elite competition to Panama Geishas, Kenyan AA TOPs, Ethiopian G1s, the Costa Rican “Musician” series and its own house blends. Its café Ritrovare Coffee PLUS sits in an old terrazzo-floored house near the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts; the original Beitun shop is closed for renovation. Roaster Ashton Huang.
