Push Pull began in 2012 when Christopher Hall started roasting in his Portland apartment; pop-ups led to the SE Stark Street roastery café in January 2018. The menu focuses on naturals, honeys, anaerobics and other experimental, fruit-forward processes. A Seattle café, Push Pull on Union, opened in the Central District in September 2022.
