Replica Roasters
Herent, Belgium
A micro-roastery near Leuven founded by Jasper De Elerck and Ester Visker, who bring roughly 20 years of combined food and coffee industry experience to a shared fascination with "what human intervention and nature can create together." They roast on a fully electric Stronghold S9X powered by local, renewable solar and wind energy, and curate an origin-led lineup — named farms and washing stations across Colombia, Bolivia, Ethiopia and Burundi — chasing clarity, sweetness, juiciness and balance while steering away from heavily fermented or "boozy" lots. Replica's most balanced espresso blend — full-bodied and chocolatey with a little fruit, built with a wide sweet spot that works both black and with milk. Assembled from quality lots that don't quite stand alone as single origins.
Chocolatey · Full bodied · Fruity

A washed Geisha from the Los Rodriguez family's Alasitas farm high in the Bolivian Andes, part of a family effort to preserve Bolivia's declining coffee heritage — high sweetness, vibrant citric acidity and lots of florals. Part of the "white" series for exceptional, higher-priced lots.
Florals · Citric acidity · High sweetness

A washed lot from more than 500 family-owned farms at Banko Taratu, refined through a double fermentation — first in mucilage, then a secondary submerged ferment after washing — for extra clarity and acidity. White tea, elegant florals and sweet pink grapefruit.
White tea · Pink grapefruit · Florals

A balanced community-lot decaf, sugar-cane (ethyl acetate) process — high sweetness with cherry and chocolate notes, and a favorite for cappuccinos.
Cherry · Chocolate

A honey-processed Red Bourbon lot from Giku Hill, processed at Long Miles' Ninga Washing Station (~1,900 masl) alongside the Nkokoma River — classic Burundian oolong and red berries with a tropical, lychee twist.
Oolong · Red berries · Lychee

A classic washed Yirgacheffe from the Eva Gotiti washing station in Gedeb, a facility established in 2022 that also funds seedlings and premium payments for local farmers — floral, vibrant citrus and black tea.
Florals · Citrus · Black tea

A microlot from Las Perlitas, a project pooling smallholder farmers in Huila whose individual lots are too small to export alone into standout microlots sold at fair prices — earl grey, honey and lemon.
Earl grey · Honey · Lemon

A washed SL28 from Don Lino's Betania Farm, part of a network of 117 smallholder producers in southern Huila — the Kenyan-variety influence is clear in the cup but built on a very different structure from actual Kenyan coffees. Part of the "white rainbow" series for exceptional, traditionally-processed lots.

A Pink Bourbon lot from Sigilo, run through a double fermentation — 48 hours anoxic on the cherry, then 48 hours submerged in mucilage with inoculated yeast under controlled temperature/pH, finished with a thermal shock — for an expressive, citrus-driven cup. Part of the "black" series of process-forward lots.
Lime leaf · Meyer lemon · Black tea

A clean natural from Ture Waji's Sookoo Coffee, sourced from 35 smallholder farmers in the Shoondhisa Kebele — a citrussy, bergamot-like florality with strawberry and a jammy, mouth-watering texture.
Bergamot · Strawberry · Jammy

Off-spec batches sold at cost — lots where a roast profile landed slightly light or dark, or where Replica was experimenting with a new profile. The blend of beans/roast dates isn't disclosed; still tasty, just not quite meeting their normal release standard.
