Founded in Groningen in late 2020 by Stuart Ritson — former chair of the Barista Guild and former Director of European Sales at Cafe Imports — Untitled Coffee pairs each limited release with original artwork commissioned from a different artist and printed directly on the bag, rather than treated as disposable packaging. A former coffee picker who now owns the very farm he once worked on, Juan Jimenez has stayed committed to classic washed processing while producing fruity, complex, consistently exceptional lots — this particular one was entered into the Osito Copa de Oro cup quality competition. A community lot from eight producers in Planadas, Tolima trading informally as the El Rubi group, farming with organic practices though this specific lot isn't certified. Orange, Caramel, White Grape
The first release in Untitled's 'House Coffee' line — a more accessible, espresso-friendly counterpart to their usual filter-focused releases. Held in cherry for 42 hours, depulped and fermented with microbe-enriched mosto for 33 hours, then washed and dried on raised beds for 16 days at Ratnagiri Estate, one of southern India's leading coffee processing centres. A summery, fruity AA lot from the Kii factory, run by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga — a station well known for quality. Follows a prior collaboration with DrinkPlay (California) that paired the same artist, Anthony Zinonos, with another release; Untitled plans to revisit this artwork with a Kii peaberry lot later.
