Bareknuckle

This blend is the coffee we reach for when we want something a little darker and little more intense than some of our other offerings. We carefully roast this to a higher final temperature to create a flavor profile that has notes of dark caramelized sugar. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Cherrypicker

Cherrypicker is our most fruit-forward blend. We “cherry-pick” two outstanding naturally processed coffees with big, ripe fruit flavors, heavy body, and high sweetness. Cherrypicker’s components change with coffee seasonality, and are often highlighted individually as single-origin offerings! Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Colombia - Finca Alto Bonito

Boxcar’s Reserve Series highlights one-of-a-kind and exceptional coffees, from vintage lots preserved in our deep freezer to unique processing methods and rare varieties, expertly roasted to highlight their unique attributes. The Fourth edition in our Reserve Series is an ultra-limited 110lb lot of Sidra from Libano, Tolima. This coffee was such a standout from our recent purchasing trip to Colombia that we air freighted it to our roastery to share it with you as soon as possible. In this jammy and rich but refined cup, expect deeply sweet and ripe concord grape, tart red plum, and an orange m Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Colombia
El Salvador - Finca Himalaya

The good news: This naturally-processed Pacamara lot is outstanding! The cup is explosive with high acidity, a dense syrupy body, and undeniable citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The bad news: This will be our final release from El Salvador in 2026, so make sure you get some before it’s gone. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

El Salvador
Ethiopia - Chelbesa Danche

The newest harvest of Yellow honey-processed coffee from the famed Danche station somehow outdoes last year’s Good Food Award-winning lot! Our roastery team is obsessed with this coffee for its undeniable yellow peach flavor, wild strawberry, and orange blossom. This is truly outstanding Ethiopian coffee that won’t be around long. Ethiopia
Ethiopia - Habtamu Fikadu

Another perfectly clean and expressive washed Ethiopian coffee, coming right up! We’re loving this coffee for its intense florality and tart berry and citrus flavors - think raspberry, blueberry, lavender, and mandarin orange. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Ethiopia
Ethiopia - Habtamu Fikadu Natural

This naturally processed coffee from Habtamu Fikadu and 400 smallholders in Buku has been on our minds since we first tasted our pre-shipment sample this Spring. With a complex and fruit-forward profile, this coffee has the floral, citrusy, pleasantly bitter character of hops along with tart dried mango and perfectly ripe blueberries. NaturalEthiopia
Ethiopia - Layo Teraga

While perfectly clean with no ferment or process flavors, this coffee from the Layo Teraga Coffee Producers Cooperative falls firmly in the “fruit bomb” category for us. Expect dense, sugary sweetness, fruit punch, stone fruit and citrus all around with a clear and crisp finish. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

No.7
$18.50

Sweet, citrusy, and balanced is the name of the game with this blend, which serves as the everyday drip coffee at our cafe on Pearl St. We combine fresh washed coffees from the Americas and Africa to create our perfect everyday cup. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Stella
Stella
$18.50

Stella is our workhorse blend that we serve all day, every day as espresso in our cafes. We select sweet, clean, balanced coffees that exhibit lots of chocolate and caramel flavors. The specific coffees that make up this blend change seasonally, but we maintain a constant flavor profile by careful selection and working with the same producers year after year. Tatacoa - Decaf

This decaf not only holds its own against its caffeinated counterparts, but shines in its own right with loads of sweetness, dried berry notes, and a distinct caramel finish. Source: boxcarcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).
