Ona Coffee

Canberra, Australia

Founded in 2008 by Saša Šestić — 2015 World Barista Champion — out of his garage in Canberra, ONA Coffee grew from a one-man roasting operation into one of Australia's leading specialty coffee brands, built on the values of innovation, community, and excellence. ONA's team has since collected a run of world and national titles across barista, brewers cup, cup tasters, and coffee-in-good-spirits disciplines. The Canberra roastery and head office has run entirely on solar power since November 2019, and ONA now co-owns farm partnerships abroad — including Iris Estate in Volcán, Panama, alongside Jamison Savage and Elvin Siew — sourcing Geisha, rare micro-lots, and everyday blends alike. Four ONA flagship cafés operate today in Canberra (Fyshwick), Melbourne (Brunswick), Sydney (Marrickville), and Dubai (Jumeirah, ONA's first international outpost), alongside hundreds of Australian wholesale partner cafés.
