Roasteries / Frukt Coffee Roasters

Frukt Coffee Roasters
Turku, Finland
Founded in 2018 by Samuli Pääkkönen in Turku, Finland, after he trained at Turun Kahvipaahtimo and Copenhagen's Coffee Collective. Frukt runs on a 'less but better' philosophy — investing in high-quality raw coffee and careful practices rather than volume — and roasts every coffee to work as both filter and espresso. The roastery is based near Turku Harbor with limited retail on-site, alongside its downtown showroom and coffee bar at Puutarhakatu 8 (opened Summer 2024). Beyond direct sales, Frukt supplies wholesale partners — cafés, restaurants and bakeries — across Finland and ships internationally. Source: frukt.coffee.
