Specialty coffee roastery and café in Barcelona's Gràcia neighborhood, founded in 2015 by François and Carmen after years living in France, England, and Poland — one of the city's first specialty roasters alongside Nomad. Housed in a converted 19th-century artisan's house with nearly four-metre vaulted Catalan ceilings and hydraulic mosaic floors, with a counter separating the seating area from the roasting production space so customers watch the beans roast in real time. Travels directly to origin (Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Uganda, Yemen) to build long-term relationships with smallholder producers, then roasts locally in Barcelona. Also supplies the hotel/catering trade with wholesale coffee, espresso machinery, menu development, and barista training. Fully biodegradable and compostable packaging since 2018, local deliveries by cargo bike, and a "Reuse because you can't recycle the planet" campaign encouraging customers to bring their own cup.
