About this coffee
A washed lot from the Shyira washing station, run since 2017 by Evariste Hagumimana at 1,800 m in Nyabihu, in Rwanda's misty north-western highlands. Volcanic soils and cool temperatures slow ripening; Shyira coffees are known for lively acidity, expressive florals and fruit, with a hint of Kenya about them. Roasted for filter; the natural from the same station is sold for espresso.
