About this coffee

Light Medium Roast.  The Alto Inambari subregion, situated in Puno’s Sandia Valley, produces some of the most distinct and coveted coffees in the world. The geography of Puno is defined by dramatic contrasts, ranging from deep tropical jungles to the icy peaks of the Andes. Located at nearly 4,000 meters above sea level, it ranks as the fifth-highest city in the world. Despite extreme altitudes and low temperatures, the Andes provide unique biodiversity and mineral-rich, fertile soil ideal for specialized cultivation. Reaching the Sandia jungle requires a five-hour journey from Juliaca. This a Source: beanstockcoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).
