Cafetoria

Helsinki, Finland

A Latin-Nordic coffee roastery founded in 2002 by a small, multi-cultural team of coffee lovers. The story began in 2001 in the Peruvian Amazon, over a cup of organic coffee with smallholder farmers — the founders saw both the hardship of small producers and the promise of organic cultivation, and set out to prove that a very good coffee could also help people. All roasting and packaging is hand-crafted at the roastery's Lohja facility on a vintage Probat UG22 (built in Germany in the late 1970s), prized for drawing out coffee's distinctive nuances.
