A Calico exclusive lot from Tatu Estate, grown in the red volcanic soils of Kiambu. The estate took 1st and 3rd in the washed category at Kenya's 2026 Top of Harvest and is Rainforest Alliance certified. A classic Kenyan cup with real clarity: juicy blackcurrant, bright lemon, delicate rosehip and lingering honey.

A "pure water" washed micro lot inspired by Kenya's K72 method: 72 hours of tank fermentation, with the water swapped for fresh cold water on the second night to slow it down, then over two weeks of slow drying in a single layer on shaded raised beds. Delicate and expressive: white blossom and bergamot, juicy blueberry and a bright orange finish.
White blossom · Blueberry · Bergamot · Orange

From the Gotiti Cooperative, known for refined traditional processing that keeps the character of the region's coffees. This "Honey Moon" lot is dry-fermented before washing, giving mandarin, yellow peach and orange blossom.
Mandarin · Yellow peach · Orange blossom

Calico's floral espresso option, a Grade 1 washed Guji (Ethiopia's top classification). Clean, sweet and expressive, with jasmine, mandarin, honey and yellow peach, and enough character to stay distinct in milk.

Kamavindi Coffee Lab is an estate and processing centre near Mount Kenya run by Peter Mbature and family, pairing SL28/SL34 with natural and anaerobic experiments. Calico visited this year and now buys direct. Vibrant and layered: plum, red grape, red wine and panela sweetness.

A rare high-quality Kenyan natural. Kenya's specialty trade has long focused on washed coffees, with naturals linked to low-grade "Mbuni" lots; Thunguri joins Kenya's bright structure to the deeper fruit and candy-like sweetness of natural processing.
Raspberry · Apricot · Rhubarb · Strawberry candy

Geisha from Jose Pocha Gallardo's Feryen and Jurutungo farms in the Talamanca area of Chiriquí, where cool temperatures and volcanic soils suit the variety. The name is Panama's coordinates, a nod to western Panama's terroir.
Honeysuckle · Bergamot · Stone fruit · Jasmine

A natural Pacamara from the Los Brujos farm in Potrerillos. Juicy yellow plum and redcurrant give a bright fruit character, balanced by fragrant oolong and the deep sweetness of dates.
Yellow plum · Redcurrant · Oolong · Dates

Lot Lino 5WB from the Cañas Verdes farm of Hacienda La Esmeralda, the Peterson family estate that pioneered Panama Geisha. Forest, volcanic soil and cool temperatures slow ripening for a refined, floral and very clean cup. Sold as a 32g dose.
Chamomile · Bergamot · Honey · Green tea

From Kotowa, a multi-generation estate on the slopes of Barú volcano ("Kotowa" is Ngäbe for mountain), known for meticulously separated parcels and regular Best of Panama placings. Calico visited and cupped the lots side by side. Sold as a 32g dose.
