Our goal in creating this traditional espresso is to selectively source an exceptional South American & Central American coffee, then roast these coffees to a medium level to bring out their distinctive character. This espresso is sweet, nutty and chocolatey with muted acidity and a heavy body that shines through in milk drinks. Analog espresso works well as an espresso and as a drip/filter coffee. Naturists like to spend their time in their natural state and they asked us for a coffee that was as real as they are. So we created Bare Blend, a roast which exposes the authenticity of the bean and uncovers true coffee flavours with a streak of chocolate that also exhibits hazelnut & caramel sweetness. Bare Blend is officially endorsed by Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park so you know it is stripped of pretences. It works great as a drip/filter coffee and also tastes great as an espresso. Founded in 2008 by Diego Bermúdez and his brother Alexander, Finca El Paraíso is located in the Piendamó region of Cauca, Colombia. Though not from a coffee-growing family, Diego’s passion and hard work led him into coffee cultivation while studying Agricultural Business Administration, selling coffee to cooperatives to support his education. In 2015, Finca El Paraiso won first place in a regional coffee competition, launching them into the specialty coffee world. Their success inspired them to keep innovating in coffee processing, and today they continue to deliver exceptional, sustainable co Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

This coffee was cultivated on the lush, sloping hillsides that define the vast countryside of the region. After the cherries were meticulously handpicked at peak ripeness, they were transported from the cafetal, weighed on-site, and processed using traditional Colombian methods. Once collected, the cherries were weighed, placed in a hopper, and de-pulped. The beans then underwent fermentation for 12 to 24 hours, followed by washing and drying in parabolic greenhouse dryers for 20 days. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Our goal in creating this contemporary espresso is to selectively source coffees that are sweet, fruity and chocolatey. We carefully and lightly roast these unique coffees to unlock their full potential without compromising flavour. Roasting this way is a delicate and painstaking process that requires skill and precision - no two coffees ever roast the same way. This espresso is nuanced and balanced with multi dimensional acidity, candy-like sweetness and a rich chocolate body. Echo espresso also works great as a filter/drip coffee. Bombe is located in the Bensa district of Ethiopia’s Sidama region, where coffee is grown between 2,250 and 2,400 meters above sea level. The area’s cool temperatures and long growing season allow cherries to mature gradually, contributing to dense beans and the expressive cup profiles for which Bombe and the wider Sidama region are known. This coffee undergoes an anaerobic natural process, where whole coffee cherries are sealed in oxygen-deprived fermentation tanks for a carefully controlled fermentation period. By limiting oxygen exposure, the cherries develop deeper fruit complexity while t Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

The group comprises 385 women located in two remarkable coffee regions, often cited as the source of some of Mexico’s finest coffees: the Sierra and Frailesca regions. This coffee comes from a group of women producers in these regions of Chiapas, Mexico, and is offered through the Nantic program. These producers play a central role in the rural economy, often serving as heads of household and primary providers. For them, coffee cultivation represents both a livelihood and the continuation of family traditions, with farms frequently inherited and forming their main source of income. Remember way back when your bestie made you a mix tape with all their favourite hits? Well, that’s what we did with this coffee. We took our favourite coffees from our current offerings, roasted and blended them in the perfect ratio to create a super vibrant, fruity and complex cup of coffee. This evolving blend consists of a minimum of 3 coffees from different origin countries. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

When you open up this bag don’t expect to find any black & oily beans, we’re just not that cruel to our coffee. To create this roast, we source coffees from quality producers, then roast these coffees just past the point of full development, before second crack. The result is a coffee that retains its sweetness and character but also has a deep chocolate body, muted acidity and a touch of smokiness. This coffee works well for stovetop espresso and also as a filter/ drip coffee. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

Whether you’re working in the office or at home, a coffee you can drink from early check-ins to evening loose-end tying can come in handy. This smooth medium roast blend, with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and citrus is extremely well balanced, making it as good a match for the everyday coffee drinker as for master-blend aficionados. And maybe best of all, this versatile coffee works as well for espresso as it does for filter brews. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

This unique decaffeination process developed in Colombia uses fermented molasses, vinegar, steam & water to naturally remove 96-97 percent of the caffeine in this coffee. This process has been a game changer in the coffee industry and has helped to produce some of the world’s best tasting decafs. This coffee tastes like milk chocolate, cane sugar & citrus. It works well as both an espresso and as a drip coffee. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).

We really didn’t want to do this roast. We tried to steer you towards lighter roasted coffees that have lots of complexity in flavour. We even created a roast called Not So Dark because we didn’t want to cover up these superb coffees with roast flavour. Clearly, that wasn’t enough for you. You want it darker. So here is the darker, dark roast you asked for. Enjoy. Source: stereocoffee.com (roaster’s own copy).
