A smooth, low-acid Brazilian grown unusually far south on the Tropic of Capricorn, where the cooler climate is a challenge the growers have turned to their advantage. Pulped natural, roasted darker for espresso drinks or a deeper filter.
Nuts, Caramel, Mocha
From the 100-year-old Fazenda California in Paraná, taken over in 2004 by Luiz Saldanha with the aim of producing Brazil's best coffee; it has since won Cup of Excellence awards in 2010 and 2015. Pulped natural Mundo Novo.
Dark chocolate, Fudge, Almond
From 96 independent women producers in Huila who grow and process their own harvests as part of the Forest Academy community, a project building a fairer, more transparent chain. Washed with 24-36 hours of fermentation and 15-20 days of sun-drying: clean, balanced and sweet, great as filter and flexible for espresso.
Dried cranberry, Apple, Nutty
Built from lots grown by women smallholders around San Antonio Huista, each picking and processing on her own farm before Primavera's quality team selects and combines them. The same coffee as Kahiwa's earlier "Primavera Family", now limited to women farmers, with an extra premium funding training and workshops for women.
