Roasteries / Kurasu

Kurasu
Kyoto, Japan
Kurasu started as a small specialty coffee stand five minutes from Kyoto Station in August 2016, serving coffee roasted at its own Kurasu Nishijin Roastery — a historic machiya townhouse roastery opened in 2021. Built on a mission of 'serving Specialty Coffee from Kyoto' with English-speaking baristas and a deep online catalogue of Japan-made brewing gear, Kurasu has grown into a global chain of cafes and coffee stands across Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Dubai and China.
