About this coffee
Caripe is a natural Typica mutation only officially recognised by World Coffee Research in 2023 and almost never found outside its home region. This honey-process lot comes from Carlos César Ávila’s Hacienda Cocollar in the Caripe highlands of Monagas. Omniroast for espresso, moka pot and filter: round and indulgent, with nougat and macadamia. Source: almacafe.be (roaster’s own copy).
