Romanian specialty coffee company founded in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca by a team of local investors led by Bogdan Ciocian. Meron roasts its own coffee in Transylvania, sourcing single-origin lots directly from small family farms across Latin America and Africa (Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Honduras, Costa Rica, Peru and more), rotating origins roughly monthly. The flagship "Meron Gallery" occupies the ground floor of the historic Blau Ullmann Palace (built 1910) on Strada Horea in central Cluj-Napoca — once home to the legendary "Cafeneaua Metropol." One of the largest specialty-coffee chains in Transylvania and Romania, with locations across 10 Romanian cities. Home to multiple Romanian national barista, latte-art and cup-tasting champions.
