About this coffee

Over 900 farmers deliver about 700 tonnes of cherry a year to the Gichathaini factory in Nyeri's Mathira district, on iron-rich red volcanic soils at 1,700–1,800 m. The coffee is washed with water from the Ragati River and carefully sorted: a precise, elegant filter with redcurrant and vanilla, or plum and date as espresso. Imported by Plotcoffee; harvest Nov 2025–Jan 2026.
