About this coffee
A limited nano-lot of Marsellesa put through carbonic maceration at Finca La Bendición in Mozonte, Nueva Segovia, on the highest coffee slopes in Nicaragua. Don Liberato Jarquin bought the land in 2008 after years working in the US and built the farm from nothing; he now works it with his son Sergio. Only 16 of the farm's 70 manzanas are coffee, the rest is kept as forest. Big Lake describes it simply as a fermented red bourbon roasted with love.
