About this coffee
An AA lot from the Gikirima factory of the Kibugu Farmers Co-operative Society in Embu County, on the slopes of Mount Kenya about 14 km from Embu town. Its 1,100 members each farm around a hectare of coffee alongside tea, macadamia, bananas and maize, on deep red volcanic soils at 1,800 m with two rainy seasons a year.
