About this coffee

Common Good's October featured coffee, from Sabino and Maria Jesus, a family farming some of the highest plots in Jinotega. Sabino carries on his father Don José's coffee work, drying on raised beds and hand-sorting defects; the lot comes direct through Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, which handles its own exporting so farmers sell without middlemen. Light, juicy and clean: pear and white peach, then apple and sweet lemon, finishing like tea with honey.
