Standout Coffee
Stockholm, Sweden
Standout Coffee was founded by Oskar Garberg and Alexander Ruas — Swedish and Nordic Barista Champions and international competitors — on the belief that the world produces far fewer truly exceptional coffees than most people realize. The team tastes thousands of lots every year and only a few earn the Standout name: coffees selected for clarity, character, rarity and a sense of place, sourced directly from progressive producers in Panama, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Kenya, Yemen and beyond. In 2024 Standout Coffee won Best Nordic Roaster at the Nordic Coffee Festival, and today ships competition-level coffees to customers in more than 90 countries.
