About this coffee
Darker blends are generally (excuse the pun) "roasted" by coffee drinkers who believe that high heat kills the complexity and flavours of the bean. Dark roasts are generally roasted to such a high level to ensure that ALL of the beans (the good, bad, and the ugly) taste the same to mask defects and ensure consistency.
