Ozone Coffee
London, UK
Founded in 1998 in the surf town of Fitzroy, New Plymouth, New Zealand by Karen and the late Jamie Hodson, Ozone crossed to the UK in 2012 with a roastery, café, and restaurant on Leonard Street in Shoreditch. In 2018 Ozone acquired longstanding UK specialty roaster Hasbean, unifying both brands under the Ozone name by 2024. Coffee is roasted fresh daily at a dedicated facility in Stafford from beans sourced directly at origin, and the company holds B Corp certification (2025 recertification, impact score 97.6 — one of the highest in the global coffee industry).
