Specialty coffee roastery founded by Jordi Mestre in London in 2011, starting as a "barista nómada" coffee cart. Mestre won the Spanish National Barista Championship in 2012 and 2013, representing Spain at the World Barista Championship both years. Nomad relocated to Barcelona in 2014, opening NOMAD COFFEE LAB as one of the city's pioneering third-wave specialty coffee shops, and opened ROASTER'S HOME — a public roastery hosting tastings and courses — in Poblenou in 2015. Certified B Corporation since 2023, with Fran Márquez as CEO/Chief of Coffee alongside founder Jordi Mestre. Travels to origin to source beans directly with importers and producers, roasting in-house in Barcelona and running The Coffee Academy for barista and home-brewing education. Source: nomadcoffee.es.
