Five Senses Coffee
Rockingham, WA, Australia
Five Senses grew out of founder Dean Gallagher’s years as a school principal in Papua New Guinea’s coffee-growing Simbu highlands, where he started roasting in his home oven. Back in Perth he swapped it for a 1 kg roaster in a hot tin shed in 2000, and within months a second roastery opened in Victoria. Today Five Senses roasts in Rockingham, WA and Cheltenham, VIC, runs barista academies in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, and is a certified B Corporation and carbon-neutral business built on long-term direct relationships with producers. In 2025 it opened its first café, Five Senses Espresso, in Petersham, Sydney.

But we do guarantee this coffee is 100% specialty, is no more than 14 days from roast, and is definitely not decaf 😉 So if you’re looking to save a few bucks while still enjoying ethically sourced coffee, cleanskin is a perfect… Source: fivesenses.com.au (roaster’s own copy).
