About this coffee

A washed SHB EP regional lot from Finca San Ramón in Huehuetenango — regarded in the trade as Guatemala's finest growing region, at the foot of the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, the highest non-volcanic coffee area in Central America. Warm air rising from the Mexican lowlands protects the plantations from frost, so cherries ripen slowly for a fuller cup. Very clean, with a fruit note, almonds and chocolate, gentle bitterness leaning to cocoa and very low acidity. Harvest January–April. Good for both espresso and filter. Source: uprazeno.cz.
