About this coffee

An anaerobic washed Caturra from Los Altares in Palencia, east of Guatemala City, at 1,850 m. Owner Guadalupe Alberto "Beto" Reyes, a former mayor of Palencia, has grown coffee there since 2012 and helped put a region not known for coffee on the map; his wife and sons now run the farm with him and keep improving the wet mill so lots can be separated and tracked. Sweet caramel aroma, green apple and brown sugar, with a smooth, sweet finish. Drop publishes the FOB price paid: $3.85/lb.
