About this coffee
Experimental washed microlot from Hendra's family farm in Pegasing, Aceh Tengah — a technical outlier in a region dominated by wet-hulled (Giling Basah) processing. Hendra began experimenting with washed processing in 2010 after studying old texts and consulting other Indonesian producers moving away from traditional methods; the farm now runs 8–10 different process styles and produces about 40 tonnes of green coffee a year from 70 partner farmers, each paid a premium for ripe-only picking.
