About this coffee
Sonia Bolaños has been working in coffee since she was 14, when she’d head from school to neighboring farms to pick cherries and help support her family. Today, she manages four hectares in San Agustín, Huila, growing coffee alongside her husband, Deimar Muñoz. Together, they’ve steadily built their family farm into something pretty special. This washed Pink Bourbon marks Sonia’s first export of the variety to North America, and we’re stoked to have been introduced to it through the amazing folks at Semilla, a specialty coffee import and advocacy company based in Montreal, Canada.
