About this coffee
A peaberry lot from the Kii factory, one of three owned by the Rungeto Farmers Co-op in Kirinyaga (Father Carpenter has often bought from its sister factory Karimikui). The Kii river gives the factory its name and the water for its washing stations; more than 850 farmers deliver cherry here. An intense, bright expression of Kirinyaga: deep fresh-berry flavour with a sweet hibiscus quality. Harvest end of 2025 / start of 2026, roasted for espresso.
