Dilimize ‘’Tepe’’ olarak çevirilen La Colina, çiftlik sahibi Tony Medina’nın babasından kendisine miras olarak bırakılmış. Uzun süre yalnızca mısır ve fasulye üreten Tony, ilk kahve ağacını 1991 yılında ekmiş. 27 yıllık üretici kariyerinde yalnızca Caturra ve Bourbon türü ürettiği için bu iki türde gelişme kaydettiğini görüyoruz.
