About this coffee

Rösttrommel's first Laurina: a rare, hard-to-grow natural Bourbon mutation with only about 0.8% caffeine (against the usual 1.8% for arabica). Supriyanto grows it on the slopes of Mount Suket in the Ijen range from seed supplied by PT Perkebunan Nusantara, with the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute; the local microclimate gives slightly larger beans with the typical pointed shape.
