About this coffee

A Gesha microlot from Finca Los Naranjos, high in the mountains of the Acevedo district of Huila, where Luis Erney Claros and his family tend the cherries by hand with an emphasis on quality. Alongside traditional Castillo the farm works with rarer, experimental varieties like this Gesha; the lot placed 1st in Colombia's Top Roast competition in 2023 and 2nd in 2024. Hand-picked and strictly sorted for ripeness, then fermented 60–80 hours with a macerate of aromatic herbs before being fully washed and dried for about two weeks. Fresh, light and pronounced sweetness — rooibos, lemongrass, sweet lime and a vivid limoncello note. Source: eshop.qb.coffee
