About this coffee

From Gonjobe, the village that made Basha Bekele's name: lots from here won him the 2024 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence and the 2025 Taste of Harvest. His highest ground, on red nitisol at 2,450–2,580 m. Ripe cherries from his and his family's farms are floated, hand-sorted and dried whole for four to five weeks, then hulled at his own dry mill in Bombe. Mazelab has bought from Basha for three years. Blood orange and red berries with florals and honey.
