First shot of this coffee, not soaked in properly yet. Ran quite fast but turned out rather tasty. Strong notes of orange and grapefruit peel. Crispness similar to a green apple. Somewhat bitter finish but not ashy, more like the bitter pith of a grapefruit. Lacks the sweetness I expected from the label note of caramel.

First time brewing this coffee. Could probably run the shot longer and grind a little bit coarser to combat the hint of saltiness and dial it in to get closer to the floral notes in the coffee.

I believe I under-extracted the cup a bit. The acidity was quite punchy, almost leaning a little salty, despite the shot running quite long. The sip started out a bit sweet however, so perhaps letting the shot run 3 more seconds might open up the cup a bit.

Grind 1 clix coarser

I think it could have been brewed lighter. According to the barista it was a four pour recipe including bloom. 17g to 270g. 60-60-50-100. Wonder how it might have tasted without using the Melodrip.
